Hall of Fame
We are pleased to recognize the 2026 inductees to the CSIA BC Region Hall of Fame.

- Heather Bilodeau – Inspirational Leader
Both Cam and Heather are passionate about skiing and have spent countless hours training, mentoring and inspiring fellow instructors. They’re both true professionals that have made significant contributions to the betterment of the industry. They both truly are an inspiration to the next generation of instructors and ski industry leaders.

Extended Deadline for Scholarships
Deadline for scholarship applications has been extended to February 15, 2026. If have you signed up for a course, or are planning to attend a course this season, send in your application. See website under Funding tab for details.
Bursary Programs
Looking for some funding to help with your professional development? We have expanded the Bursary program to include more opportunities for financial aid. This season, the CSIA BC/Yukon Region is offering 6 Regional Bursaries, WIS Bursaries and additional funding through our Community Chest program. See website under Funding tab for details.
If you are planning on doing a course this season and need financial assistance, APPLY. Deadline for bursary applications is February 28, 2026.
Events
Big thanks the crew at Hudson Bay Mountain for hosting Northern Festival. Members were treated to some great groomers and sunshine on the Saturday, and some fresh snow on the Sunday. A wonderful weekend of fun and learning with an amazing group of people. Next up is the Spring Northern Fest happening at Troll in March.
There are also plenty of Pro Days happening in February/March including some Big Mountain Days, City Lights and International Women’s Day. Spring Fling will be happening in two locations to wrap up the season. Big White – with a Synchro Competition – on March 28/29, and Whistler on April 18/19. Registration will be open soon as we work out the final details.
