Hello Alberta Members,
As all of our resorts have now closed for the 2025-2026 winter, we want to extend a huge thank you for an incredible season. CSIA Alberta experienced record participation across our programming, and we are grateful to our membership for their consistent passion and continued commitment to development. We hope that you all had plenty of fun, work and quality time with good people.
Alberta Board Call for Nominations
As part of the ongoing evolution of the CSIA Alberta Board, we would like to recognize and sincerely thank Steffan Shaw and Sophie Norton as they reach the end of their time serving as board members. Their dedication, time, and contributions to the Alberta division and its members have been greatly appreciated, and we thank them for everything they have done during their tenure on the board.
To support the continued growth and direction of the board, Darren May has assembled a nominating committee, and we will soon be putting out a formal call for interest to members who may wish to join the CSIA Alberta Board of Directors.

Technical and Education Committee
Thank you to Warren Jobbitt for his time serving on the Technical & Education Committee. H
is work has played an important role in aligning CSIA’s core values across technique and methodology.
Conor McKeown has recently been elected to represent Alberta at the Technical and Education Committee meetings for the next term. Conor started working and coaching at Rabbit Hill before moving to Lake Louise 15 years ago. Be sure to seek out Conor should you have something that needs our TEC’s attention.
