January brought us lots and lots of snow, including the record snowfall on January 26 – and February promises to keep our ski season going stronger still!

CSIA Ontario High Performance Women’s Day returns with TWO one-day events!
Train with some of Ontario’s incredible female Level 4 leaders. Push your skills, fuel your pathway and connect with like-minded female ski instructors. Strong skiing and unstoppable vibes!

March 3, 2026, at Blue Mountain Resort. Snow School Directors are being contacted directly by CSIA Ontario with all the registration details. Enjoy a day of skiing, connecting and simply having a great time!

CSIA Ontario grant Program in action…
Below is an open letter from Catherine Powell, of Blue Mountain Resort, describing the newly created “Slide Guide” and fantastic mentorship program… awesome, and we applaud the initiative!
With the financial help of CSIA Ontario, Blue Mountain Resort Snow School launched the
Instructor 101 program. The goal was to support new instructors as they begin teaching.
The Slide Guide (pictured below) outlined a series of measurable skills to complete
during their first few shifts, with the guidance of a mentor instructor.
All participating instructors reported that the mentorship was valuable, and it helped
build a stronger sense of community within our Snow School.
