Let the birds fly south
Let the first snow fall
Doesn’t hurt at all to witness
Summer blowing town.
With summer coming to a close and the kids heading back to school, the focus starts to shift back to the white room and getting prepared for the ski season ahead. Your BC/Yukon Regional Board is excited about the upcoming season and looking forward to getting back out on the slopes. Here are just a few of projects that we are working on.
Creation of the BC/Yukon Hall of Fame. Celebrate the history of the region and recognize members that have made a significant contribution to the growth of the ski industry in BC/Yukon. Learn more about the Hall of Fame and nomination process on our website.
AGM and Hall of Fame dinner will be held in Whistler; tentative date is December 7, 2024.
Start the season with Ignition Days coming to the slopes of Whistler, Fernie, SilverStar and Mt. Washington in December. Northern Festival scheduled for Troll and Murray Ridge. Custom themed Pro Days, City Lights, WIS Days, Project Y and end of season celebrations with Spring Fling in April. Dates and locations are still being finalized and will be on the website once confirmed.
Financial assistance for professional development is available through our expanded scholarship program, bursaries, and community chest.
