The Atlantic Convention was held from December 5–8. Originally scheduled to take place at Mont-Sainte-Anne (Quebec), the event required a rapid relocation of all Pro Days and sessions to Stoneham (Quebec) due to a power outage. Social events continued as planned at Mont-Sainte-Anne. This swift pivot was necessitated by the rescheduling that occurred on Thursday afternoon and evening. This event was one of our largest in years! Between camp participants, course conductor training, course conductors, and staff, we welcomed more than 100 people to the convention.
CSIA Atlantic Board 2025-2026
We are pleased to introduce our new provincial representatives, elected by acclamation and officially ratified at the AGM on December 6, 2025. Each will serve a two-year term ending in December 2027:
- David McTimoney (Nova Scotia)
- Matthew Rideout (New Brunswick)
- Priya Jain (Prince Edward Island)
- Sherry Dunsworth (Newfoundland and Labrador)
These individuals join our current Members-at-Large, who will continue in their roles until December 2026:
- Cheryl McMurtrie
- Matthew Christie
- Sarah-Jean Pardy
We also welcomed Laura Clarke, who was appointed in November to fill a vacant Member-at-Large position. We look forward to working together to support and strengthen our Atlantic community.
