CSIA Ontario Scholarship recipients
A hearty CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the CSIA Ontario Scholarship recipients for the 2025-2026 season!
As in prior years, difficult decisions had to be made by the scholarship’s selection committee. We are delighted to announce that ski instruction and skier development education funding has been awarded to 42 CSIA Ontario members. We applied a tiered approach to the Ontario CSIA Scholarship program – those seeking L2 support received up to $500, L3 up to $750 and L4 up to $1,000. 29 CSIA Ontario Members received scholarships for the L2 pathway; 9 for the L3 pathway; and 4 for the L4 pathway.
We wish to thank all 74 CSIA Ontario members who applied and were seriously considered. Of the many who have already reached out to us to express their gratitude, here are a couple of responses which say far more than just the words chosen:

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for awarding me the CSIA Scholarship. I am truly honoured to be selected as a recipient, and I deeply appreciate your generosity and support.
This scholarship will make a meaningful difference in my CSIA annual contribution as a dedicated course conductor. I will be updating myself through the annual course conductor update and taking the trainer exams. This will be a great start to getting back onto the annual availability list to teaching Level 1 courses! Your support encourages me to work hard and remain committed to achieving success.

I am thrilled to be awarded this CSIA Ontario Scholarship. Your actions and faith in me absolutely cement the unchallengeable value that the CSIA consistently delivers and why I will endeavor to find ways to pay it back and to pay it forward. Early this coming season I am confident that I will finalize the achievement of my Level 2, and in doing so I can broaden my qualifications as a ski instructor for a wider base of students.
